Now for something on a lighter note: "Batsman: Swarming Scourge of the Underworld," published as new material in Batman Black and White Volume Two (2002). 2 pages of 8.
Jim Gordon summons "Batsman" to prevent the theft of the Star of Bafiristan jewel from the Kane Museum, after the police receive an anonymous note they suspect is from the Riddler (it reads, "What rhymes with Schmafiristan?"). Batsman leaves to perch upon a gargoyle, where he can be alone. However, also responding to the "Flocking Signal" is nearly every member of the Bat-Family in every universe, all of them converging on him at the same time. Fleeing them, he ends up heading straight for the museum skylight: "I'm gonna claim later I meant to do this."
