When Annie bit Boomerang (?), I thought maybe she has some kinda spider neuro-toxin power or something. I wouldn't be surprised really.

Also I have never heard of the Spot guy, the one who opens teleporting wormholes but basically loses a piece of himself each time. Apparently he's an old Spidey villain, but honestly I have never heard of him. I'm trying to figure out how his superpower didn't kill him outright when he was a villain.

His powers normally don't work this way (losing bits of himself), he's dying because Regent took some of his power.

Jhonny Ohhn, the Spot. I love this guy. :) I think the last time we saw him was in Daredevil a couple years back or so.

He made prominent appearances in the opening arc of Waid's "Daredevil", and later got rejiggered as the more sinister (and definitely creepy) "Coyote".

I'll be brutally honest, I don't think Slott can stick the landing here. I mean, this is far better than most of his recent output, but there's way too much he's left hanging.

Good to see the Spot getting an important role. I've always loved him since his appearance in the 90's animated series, and was a bit disappointed to discover he was mostly just a silly loser character in the comics.

As of Waid's recent Daredevil run, where he changed into 'Coyote', he's not a silly loser. He's more of a creepy unhinged psychotic with a very disturbing power.

He didn't change into Coyote, Coyote stole his powers or something along those lines.

It feels weird that they have the kid *that* name, considering it belonged to one of his non-characters last...the Goblin-Baby-Mama-With-Horns-For-No-Reason, as I recall.
