So Captain America's side now has the technology to turn any super-powered person into a regular one. To power it on a large scale, however, they'll need to steal certain rare resources from Stark's side. Spider-Man leads a mission to do so:

Speedball really never gets a break in anything Civil War related :(

I wasn't the biggest fan of the original series, but this has been of of the better Secret Wars tie-ins if by premise if nothing else.

Seeing Peter doing his littel twipping pose to intimidate Sandman kind of takes the edge out of the seriousness of the situation.

So... Azari is apparently the son of Storm and the Black Panther. In the future. And if I recall, he and his fellow kids-of-Avengers came back to the present in... Avengers World? Secret Avengers? One of those.

But it doesn't explain what he's doing here, all grown up, and hanging out in an event which takes its divergence point from a time well before the kids should have shown up. Not only that, there's no real explanation as to who he is in this storyline.

I wonder also if Marvel will ever let Azari meet Kymera, Storm and Black Panther's -daughter- from a -different- future who also came back to the present.

Marvel should be tried for extreme contempt of temporal continuity on about a billion counts.

Marvel hasn't been big into continuity for at least 15 years now, and frankly, I think they're better for it.

This is an alternate universe where the Civil War has lasted for years.

Obviously this isn't in continuity with the original Civil War, this is a different continuity.

Storm and T'Challa have had a ton of kids in other dimensions.

Storm and T'Challa had a ton of oddly named kids in other time-lines: Sky Panther, T'Wari and T'Chaka (and their siblings), Sh'ri. All of them now wished out to the Convergence cornfield by Marvel. The Time Variance Authority must be seriously slacking off.

This is a different universe, obviously this Azari didn't arrive here via time travel, just grew up normally.

I really can't see Bucky, who's been brainwashed and imprisoned and made a weapon against his friends, going along with Tony's plans- y'know, locking up heroes in the negative zone, forcing people to work for the government whether they like it or not, recruiting supervillains and setting them on your friends- and actually choosing that over Steve? Not to say he can't disagree with Cap, but unless this world's civil war went waaaaaay different, I gotta call bullshit.

It is different, Steve never died. It's not that weird that without Steve's death and the war continuing longer than it should have, Bucky might have made different choices.

More importantly, this is an alternate universe.
