"It’s an optimistic quest, and optimism is at the heart of the book. True, you might sometimes have to dig through layers of cynicism and even nihilism to get to it, but underpinning the broader story arc, as unfashionable as it may be, is that sense of hope." -- James Roberts

So the plan is to send their own holo-avatars to the fake Earth to investigate and figure out just what's going on:

He looks like a cross between Dr. Claw and an anime villain, which I doubt was unintentional (and is likely why he's white). I don't think he looks too thin; he's lean, but his shoulders are huge, and he towers over the other characters.

Megatron certainly shows his age more in this form. Not only is he surviving on a "strength sapping" energon substitute, but he mentioned to Ravage that he feels old. His body is a mess from refits over the years, and despite changing sides to the Autobots it's clear that he's feeling directionless (especially after Trailcutter's death).

I'd really just love a series focusing entirely on Megatron's journey to find some new meaning in his life. I find stories about villains turning over a new leaf fascinating.
