I have just one question why are they all 6 foot tall blondes? Did one guy impregnate their mothers? Are they all half-sisters? Okay that more than one question, this has been bugging the hell out of me.

Only the fittest survived, hence toned six foot tall... and blonde/blue-eyed is genetically dominant, so with population drift in a limited sized pool [two hundred is a small population] other hair & eye colours went extinct.

Actually, not a bad case study in genetic drift.

blonde/blue-eyed is recessive to darker hair and eye colors. I think they're only dominant over red hair/green eyes.

Umm.. yeah, it's been a couple of decades since I did those classes, so possibly. Although I think there are exceptions. For example, Tudor red [hair] is dominant to just about everything.

I think you got it backwards. Ennis books sell well, including this one and All-Star Section Eight. Marvel and DC want him to write for them more than he wants to write for them.
