Now that the UU is gone I think it's safe to say that Loeb was the one who effectively helped kill it.

Oh yeah, Loeb basically shivved the Ultimate Universe in the ribs twice and left it to bleed to death. It took five years or maybe a little bit more, but the things wrong with the imprint were nothing compared to the shit he doused it in.

This was awesome. It had a throwback action movie feel.

Good lord, they could have picked a better artist for this; I've never liked Dillon, but he just seems like a terribly poor match for a vampire-killing action movie-type feel.
