For the first issue, Patsy occasionally looked like a child during certain moments...I think it's that "Chibi" style I've heard tell of.

Kate Leth is a ray of sunshine. I wonder if the two Bowie references (the thief saying "Oh you pretty things" to a pair of boots and Patsy's...sorta Aladdin Sane t-shirt?) were snuck in as a last-minute tribute.

I love how all the older heroes are gasping at the return of this old enemy, and all the newer heroes are like "Um, okay? Who is this again?"

This is....okay this WAY MORE CHARMING than I would have thought possible. That panel with the emojis for each of the characters? That's fantastic. Seriously, it's just great.

Also, I really like everything about this. The girls doing a pow-wow over burgers, the general camaraderie and the super fun tone. God, I'm so happy that FUN isn't a dirty word in comics any more.
