The votes are in, and while Nightmare and Sleepy put in a good showing, the Boy King and the Giant are, by one vote, whom you'd most like to see. So, from Clue #2 (February 1943), here's the continuing story of our brave Swisslakian refugees.

The single best panel here is Giant making out with the Statue of Liberty.

Oh sure Giant the Statue of Liberty is very pretty but once you get to know her you'll find out she's a nagger, just ask Metlar.



Anyway this comic is fantastic even if the author is confused about some facts like how deep the ocean is, or when Nostradamus lived.

I've only actually seen the four part miniseries intro to the series, after I saw a video review of it (that focused heavily on this episode cause he always ended them by looking at the show's weirdest episode).

Okay...seems a bit overboard, but sure.

Killing crime? That seems a bit overambitious.

It's interesting: on the one hand, the cover and splash page promote the Boy King feature as a crime story (after all, crime comics were getting popular around this time), but the story itself is clearly in the war/espionage genre. Maybe the publisher was trying to appeal to two audiences at the same time.

Maybe he'll be like Captain Carrot Ironfounderson, and arrest the Nazis for disturbing the peace.

I was all ready to come in to tell Boy King to maybe switch to decaf or not take his command technique so much from Joffrey Lannister but then I saw the giant fall in love with the statue of liberty and that might actually be the best thing ever :D

I keep being distracted by just how much the size of the Giant changes from panel to panel.
