I love that the Kents jump at the call when they are needed. In this universe, they never raised superman, they never got involved in the superhero community, they were just a regular couple with nothing at stake with the whole "metahuman witch hunt"... and they STILL decided to go and rescue heroes.
No he isn't IIRC shortly after the Alfred staring at the screen in shock page is the page where he gets back reduced to a virtually catatonic state. He got himself and Catwoman out of there on auto-pilot.
Technically speaking, murdering a man (serial killer or otherwise) in front of a huge crowd makes him a criminal in the sense that the police more or less have to take him in for questioning at the very least.
Technically speaking, that would make him a suspect. Innocent until proven guilty always applies, so no matter who witnessed the events in question, no one's a criminal until a court actually issues a conviction. /didactism
May I just say I love how badass Lex is being here?
Think on it. He's likely been Starro's chief puppet for *decades* now, and he *still* manages to snag enough freedom to attempt to drop a clue in front of one of the world's best investigative reporters.
I'm pretty sure the sudden aneurysm is how Starro simultaneously shuts him down and punishes him for the attempt, but still, pretty hardcore.
So, I used to have part of this series somewhere. Sadly, I seem to have lost it in a move. So, I swung by Comixology and grabbed digital copies of the whole series. Man, what a good, fun comic it is.
It's amazing how much typical "What If"/"Elseworlds" stories get wrong that this one gets right, but mostly it's how much characters get to be awesome here, rather than just falling like flies.
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.

I'm not surprised Bruce is catatonic. What he witnessed should traumatize him as badly as the night his parents were killed.
Love Lana as a deeply undercover rebel. Lois is not ready to take everything at face value. C'mon, Lois, you're the world's best reporter!
Poor J'onn.
Is Clark somewhere in this facility under quadruple lock-and-key?
