Is that Krampus on the cover? Never thought I'd say this but I think he's starting to risk overexposure at this point...

I believe he's meant to be the mystery villain to which the series has been building, and this cover gave away the twist.

The thing on the cover looks like a leshen from the Witcher.

The vibe Im getting from this artist would be pretty great for an adaptation of the Witcher books actually. A lot better than what we got for comic art for ASoIaF.

Comes from the leshy, which kind of makes sense, though he looks more like they took Herne the Hunter and stuck a nithing head on him or went full on Christian perception of the Horned God (so a devil, like pretty much everything from a troll to an elf).
