Ultimate Spider-Man: Hollywood

Usually when a superhero movie comes out Marvel (or DC as it is now) will do a storyline that relates to the movie's plot or in some cases change the characters for movie synergy. A while back when Spider-Man 2 came out Bendis did something different...
#54...
The issue opens with Aunt May leaving for a week and giving some money to Pete and Gwen to take care of themselves.

Spidey asks how they can make a movie without his permission and they tell him they don't need to as he's a public figure. They also got rights from Otto's ex-wife and Norman Osborn's half-sister Cher Osborn.

#55...
There's a little scene with Dr. Octopus 'talking' to his tentacles (I cut most of these pages out but there are a few scenes like this that explain a scene later) about how they should lay low when they see on TV his ex-wife badmouthing him.

Kong is telling everyone about it the next day at school and Gwen gets upset.

During the filming of the movie, Spider-Man is watching from afar.

I'm... just going to let that speak for itself.

During the fight with Dr. Octopus Spider-Man is knocked out.

#57...
On the plane Ock slaps Peter with one of his tentacles.

We get an extended flashback sequence as to how Otto was able to escape with Spider-Man (which involves him putting his tentacles on someone as a decoy for the police to shoot) and hijack a plane. Otto goes to the pilot and when he returns Spider-Man has apparently escaped.

#58...
It turns out Spider-Man didn't leave the plane but was hiding there to surprise Ock.

Spider-Man manages to stowaway on a plane.

#59...

Gwen runs off. She later returns, saying she spent the day reading up on Spider-Man at the library.

The Raimi movies kind-of goofed at points with the villain design, but the 'dishevelled guy in an overcoat and goggles' look really worked for the character. And it particularly worked here, whereas I remember in the 616 books they just.. Made him look kind-of greasy.
