He's got full control of his strength, so he could be gentle. And since his fingers are still nimble enough to work flight controls and such, I'm guessing his sense of touch is as sensitive as before his transformation.
Ben only weighs about 400 lbs.—I'm given to understand plenty of people manage to have sex lives at that size.
So Johnny's response to the death of a version of his sister from the future is to have sex with a bunch of strippers, one of whom is dressed like a woman he's worked with? That's... kind of weird and creepy.
And Debbie is getting married to Ben. Okay. Now if she had an actual personality, I'd probably have given a rat's ass.
Oh, and Ben saying he's okay with having sextuplets. Ben, you realise you wouldn't be the one having the kids, Debbie would. Maybe ask her how she'd feel about something like that...
Ah, this must have been right around the time that Hitch finally realized drawing Ben's face the way John Byrne did is really the only way to make the character look right anymore.
Okay, for all that "Doom's Master/Masters" is just incompatible with everything we know about Doom, I *LOVE* the fact that Reed honestly considers the possibility "Of course, he could just be bored and fucking with me."
Sudden Ben love interest, I'm guessing that's the plot. Giant fertility idol? Riiight. Because everyone wants something like that to be bigger than a house. Johnny's characterisation here. Anything involving the phrase "[Victor von] Doom's masters." Haha!
Millar's gone, right? He's never coming back to Marvel, I hope?
Was Ben being on the outs with Alicia something they inherited from a previous team, or did Millar just decide he wanted a new love interest and not bother to say anything about what happened to Ben's longtime love?
Aside from the jiffy-pop speed of the engagement, I also thought Millar was WAY off base in having Ben make suggestive innuendos to his girlfriend in front of her kindergarten students. Ben's supposed to be gruff and blue-collar, but not lecherous or skeevy.
Ben left her at the altar because the guy who's loved by the entire world and friends with all the superhero community plus is super-strong and durable felt he couldn't protect her from guys like Paste-Pot Pete. Then she vanished into the aether, no-one ever mentioned her again, and Alicia returned from whatever cupboard she'd been shoved into.
Except for Valeria's advanced intelligence and dead future Galactus, pretty much nothing from Millar's run has ever been mentioned again. Well, there was that awful spin-off series featuring the New Defenders/Fantastic Force immediately following, but the less said about that the better.
Don't forget Alyssa Moy and the nu-Earth, which did show up during Hickman's run. Well, Alyssa died and nu-Earth got nommed. That sort of counts, right?
I guess taking pains to pitch the whole concept into the trash could be considered remembrance. Huh, so there actually WAS something Hickman and I agreed on before Secret Wars. Who knew?

That is one of the skeeviest things Johnny has ever done to my knowledge.
