This is the teaser cover from the series regular colourist Ma. Victoria Robado, whose contribution to the unique style of the Jem comic should not be undervalued.



I have to say, I've wanted to see how The Misfits got together from the first time I saw them back in 1986, so I'm hoping that's at least part of the story (even if it does contradict my fanfic theory about how it happened! :) )

IDW sure announced some interesting stuff during SDCC. While this was neat, the biggest thing that blew my mind was the return of Saucer Country by Paul Cornell. Renamed Saucer State, it's coming next year! So happy! :D

Technically two volumes (12 or so issues). Though they'll be rereleased next year in one big collection, which I'm so going to buy.

They're on the last few pages of the most recent issue, setting them up as most likely the next antagonists coming into play. And if you're a long-term Jem fan from the old days, you'll probably be at least a little surprised by them -- especially their fourth member...
