Well, looking around, it's been way way too long since we posted once of these, supposedly regular, Request Posts, so perhaps if we make it the first of every month it'll be easier to remember.

The aim of these posts is to give community members a chance to request a posting. A story they might recall but know the name of, or a specific arc, or even examples from a particular creator.

We can't, of course, guarantee that any request will be filled, but given the combined geekitude of the community (and we mean that in the nicest possible sense) you might be surprised what can be unearthed.

So, ask away my pretties!

Greg Rucka's Lazarus?

I've been wanting something from it to show others, and if someone put together a good post or few that'd be quite helpful ^^

I second this. Just finished reading the forth volume, and between that and his Wonder Woman work (which I also just recently read) my already high esteem for Rucka continues to improve.

The only downside is I feel the first volume/arc is slightly weak compared to what follows, and it's one if those titles where i feel most pages are necessary for the whole feeling, but hopefully if it is posted more people will be inclined to check it out.

Something with Saiyuki? I used to be a HUGE fan of Gensomaden Saiyuki many years ago, but I gradually lost interest in the series as the chapters took longer and longer to come out (at some point a chapter came out over a year after the previous one). Last I read was Saiyuki Reload.

Wikipedia says that since then there have been a few more volumes called Reload Blast and Ibun. I'm curious about them.

I'd like to see some early '80s Wonder Woman. I think it was the closest to Golden Age Diana we ever got before COIE blew it all to hell. We got a modern version of Golden Age Diana/Steve, Etta, and some good villains. :)

You know that Silver Age Superman comic cover where he kills Lois in space? I'd love to see what was actually going on in that issue.

I'd love to see posts focusing on Laura Kinney from comics that aren't her titles. (Er, if that makes sense.) X-Force, All New X-Men, anything that isn't an X-23 comic or All New Wolverine.

(I'm trying to figure out where she's appeared so I can get my hands on those comics.)

Morbid but I was thinking like.....the death of Maxima during the Imperiex War (I cant find any scans of her demise...or even her during the war in general), the transformation of Emma Frost from villain to sympathetic teacher (i.e. New X-men), and more Jessica Jones!

More Psylocke is always appreciated.

Wandering Son is a great series and I'm surprised there isn't more talk about it here.

I have the 8 volumes that were put out but I'd have to take them apart to properly scan them.

Oh wow, Wandering Son! I was reading that back when it was scanlations online, and was so delighted when it got licensed in English! :D It ended up not being my thing over the long-term, but I'm still very glad it exists!

Yeah I just wish more than 8 volumes would get published in America. I don't know if it didn't sell well or what but it's been a while since vol. 8 came out and it ended on a cliffhanger.

I'd love to see more about Elseworlds.
The Nail pulled me into the whole idea a long time ago and I haven't seen anything about that specific story or the follow up (at least under the Elseworlds tag).

Has there been a look at the Elseworlds concept in general around here? Any concepts that moved from Elseworlds to the "main" line or any especially quirky ideas that worked out?

Thank you. :)

Or maybe it can be saved for the October requests?

New Blood!

By which I mean the superheroes created by the Bloodline crossover event back int he early nineties. There were some real fun ones in there, mixed with some really odd ones... I know Hitman was one, and Anima, but my faves were a couple that never seemed to show up again, Jamm, Terrorsmith, Prisim (i think) and one girl who absorbed peoples identities...

I don't suppose someone has the classic UK Jem comics? I've been curious about them for a while, but they seem to be quite rare (and expensive in real paper format).

I'm surprised that IDW hasn't announced a collection.

They seem to be super rare, I did see one on ebay once but it was going for a lot more than I wanted to pay (especially cause I actually want to read it).
