The Mighty Thor #10

. Of my singles pull list of a dozen titles, there are three that I look forward to with a giddy glee. Giant Days is #1 on that list. The Mighty Thor is #2. And in The Mighty Thor #10, everything gets turned up to 11.As a Roxxon move of last resort, the Agger protocols are triggered, sending Roxxon Island on a collision course with Manhattan. Thor has to rescue the one man who can stop it, the Corporate-Bastard-slash-Minotaur Dario Agger, from the clutches of the Exterminatrix, aka Oubliette Midas of the Midas Foundation.
Thor takes a bullet filled with the frozen blood of the late Doctor Midas to save Agger's life. Her moment of triumph is short as she is beset by both S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and by a spreading infection of gold from her bullet wound.
And then help arrives.

This legitimately made me excited. Ever since he came on to the title with God of Thunder, Jason Aaron's Thor has been very good. His work with a Mystery Thor was very exciting, not least because Russell Dauterman's art is vibrant and demands a close study. But this scene really made me want to get the next issue. I mean, the answer seems to be obvious, but even that promises a lot of interesting changes in the dynamics between characters.
I've stopped reading solicit texts, which is just as well as #11's is
THE TEAM-UP YOU NEVER EXPECTED! Thor's crusade against the corporate overlords of Midgard reaches its climax--and the lives of all New Yorkers hang in the balance. The Goddess of Thunder and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Roz Solomon make their final stand against the Exterminatrix and the Silver Samurai. And Roz and Thor get help from the most unexpected source: Jane Foster.

I can't wait until the 21st!
