Okay, first of all - that cover is amazing. Very ominous, and one of the best I've seen in a long, long time.
Secondly, I've been hearing a whole lot of negative talk about Spider-Gwen, but have never had a chance to read it before. Why is George Stacy alive? And why is Daredevil pretending to be the Kingpin? He didn't get possessed by another demon, did he?
That's actually very interesting! If I recall, it's sort of what they did in the old What If? comics. Creating stories from abstract ideas, and seeing what stuck. It also helps that Gwen has such an instantly memorable outfit. I wouldn't be shocked to see her in more Spider-Man media, like games and such.
She popped up in the mobile games almost immediately, and I believe she's slated to appear in the Ultimate Spider-Man show, so she's enjoying some crossover success.
Honestly? I wasn't sure. I remember there was Ultimate Spider-Man, where Gwen was Carnage - and then I remembered One More Day, where a lot of weird stuff happened and people came back from the dead. I just naturally assumed it was something like that. Or that she was another clone The Jackal had made who just kind of wandered back into New York.
I love Spider-Man, but with so many different dimensions and reboots and retcons, it's rather difficult to keep track of these things!
He is terrifying. And the panel of her shaking his hand to seal a "deal with the devil" is so spot on I can't believe no one ever thought of it before.

And Matt Murdock isn't pretending to be the Kingpin, he is the Kingpin.
With respect, what did you think Spider-Gwen was about of you didn't know it was set in an alternate universe?

Also, the character profile for Earth 65 Reed Richards was great.
