Waiting for the T, July 1st:

I like that the new Wasp is drawing on fairly obscure material for her backstory, but I don’t think that being raised in the Red Room has prepared her for the weirdness of her real family.

I love how this reads as if the concept of talking like adults is an alien concept for Jan

I read it as more that she doesn't know how to talk to someone who isn't an adult.

I just find it funny because a Civil War What If had Tony and Steve doing EXACTLY what she described they should be doing... and everything works out perfectly.

I was a fan of the new Wasp anyway, but the clear respect the creators have for Jan and what she can impart is great, rather than the ugly waste of her under Remender's pen; I really hope this sort of attitude gets carried across to Nadia's own series.

The Avengers team she'll be on will be written by Waid, and her solo by Jeremy Whitley... who also wrote Princeless, I think.

I like Princeless ^^; But I'm not sure if that's because of his writing or because I generally like fairytale thingies with modern twists (it's about a selfsaving princess).
