Hey, you know that cool thing that writers sometimes do, where they put their actual opinions in the mouths of villainous characters so no one can possibly accuse them of having those opinions?

Reaching. Really reaching there. Accuse him of being a crappy writer all you like, but Bendis created Maria Hill, and has done plenty for female characters when he takes the time to focus on them. This is just a villain being a villain.

Well, yes. But I'd still argue that that's more poor writing than 'Bendis hates women and is expressing that through writing'; if it were the case, I'm sure that would have expressed itself elsewhere, like say, Peter David's recent outburst.

de Ablo is from 9th century Spain. Also, he missed out on the years between the 1870s -1970s. It is not out of character for a villain of his history.

Plus, as Gnarll pointed out, Diablo is from the 9th century and this isn't the first time he's acted like a sexist jerk. So what's you're proof that these are "Bendis opinion " exactly?
