The Captain America moment I always liked was when he first encountered the (then pretty much amnesiac) Winter Soldier and believed him to be Bucky, and WANTED him to be Bucky, and yet, when he held, for a moment, the power of a Cosmic Cube in his hand; when he could have easily MADE the Winter Soldier Bucky, regardless of who he had been originally, STILL he made the wish "Remember who you were". Whether or not he turned out to be Bucky was irrelevant, Cap hoped he was, but regardless, wanted him to be who he had once been.
