While the Squadron stuff seems enjoyable, Robinson's continued push to make the Human Torch the greatest thing ever is starting to become really distracting for me.

Hey, I actually don't mind competent human torch! It's a nice change of pace.

Hammond was pretty much always treated as extremely competent, wasn't he? It's Johnny Storm that's got the reckless screwup streak.

Though I do think it likely that Thundra could have held her breath until well after all the exposed SHIELD agents nearby would have passed out, and probably could have used that flail of her to take out Hammond or at least knock him out of the side of the building and get a second wind.

Yeah, I'm kind of OK with it. I mean, the Human Torch should be something of a serious threat, especially with SHIELD behind him.

Well he is technically Marvel's first superhero and I find it more believable than all the Carol Danvers pushing

I'll jump on the band-wagon. When you get the credit for killing Hitler (or are we still going with Bucky this week?) and running with the Invaders back in WWII, you get major rep points for that.

So when is this Hyperion going to make a heel turn. 99% of the time these assholes always turn evil. Truthfully post Secret Wars should have extinguished all of the Superman knockoffs from The multiverse.
