This story was so ridiculously stupid on so many levels. Batman prevents the timeline creating him, yet somehow his new timeline self not only is able to remember that is Batman, but also retains the relevant skills.
Well it does mention his body does not have the years of training... What doesn't make sense to me was that there was no Superman cause Clark time jumped, what about baby-Kal?
What the fuck? So they just buried the entire League in one cemetery with shitty-ass basic headstones? My grandparents have a better grave then that. So what, were the families of the deceased not allowed to decide how they're buried?
This highlights something I've long suspected: Loeb is a far better role as an executive producer of TV shows than he is as a writer. I mean, this is just terrible on multiple levels. I can live with the 'great man' theory of history here, even though I think it's kind of lazy (especially with the more interesting Eleseworld with Supergirl/Batgirl that was just posted), but a lot of this is just plain dumb. Bruce and Clark are wildly out of character except when they're not, and the time-meddling is used as an excuse when convenient and ignored when not. Loeb appears to subscribe to the idea that both of these characters will always veer to being the same under all circumstances, which I subscribe to in some degree, but not to the point of being illogical.
