That turned out far more optimistic than I was expecting.

(Cap turning out to be a cyborg was kind of random. Though frankly, the fact he turned out to be real was even odder.
Was kind of expecting him to be a delusion of Frank's.)

Also that costume for "The Captain" is awful.

It really is. Now we now why the American flag isn't white, baby blue, and maroon. And why head wings shouldn't be combined with headbands and blond hair.

It's like...distilled 90's "good guy" costume (as opposed to "antihero" costume which would have many more guns and pouches of dubious utility).

I was most curious about why the death of Rogers led Frank to temper his reaction to the shooting and how did he came to take the mantle… but the what-if was surprisingly cursory about it.
