Ah yes, another entry in JM DeMatties pet theme of "Batman is the worst."

Ah, that old Elseworlds chestnut. When one character's transposed into another setting, their characters are slotted in there as well, no matter how little sense it makes.

I think it might work if you go to the Amalgam extreme and have the whole DCU be made of combinations, like that one Earth mentioned in Multiversity. Go nuts and have stuff like Wonder Woman raised in Atlantis, the Guardians of the Universe harnessing the Speed Force, all that kind of craziness.

That was an enchantingly bizarre looking universe, which will probably never get explored and will be destroyed / erased off-screen by some tediously uninteresting one-shot villain.

Damn shame, too. I'd like to know how Aquaflash even works...

(And what about the Teen Titans? Ravenfire, and Beast Borg, and all the rest that no-one ever remembers?*
*who do not really exist, I just made 'em up.)

Or that bizzare mashup world in pre-Nu52 Superman/Batman, where the Justice Titans protect Gothtropolis from the likes of Lex Joker and Metallo Penguin.

Ah, but he owns a newspaper, so if he's unmasked all he has to do is release a paper say "BATMAN REMASKED! (Nobody knows who he is anymore!)" and all will be well.

Ha, Luthor is more Penguin than Joker except for color scheme.

I like that Lex luthor is a combination of the Joker and Penguin. Really great elseword and love the ending with Bruce and Lois.

Wait, so Clark wears glasses and she can never tell. But Clark as Batman wears a full face mask and she's on him like a bloodhound?

This was one of the first comics I ever read. I think I'll always have a soft spot for this -- and for Elseworlds in general -- because of it.

Although the "Lex is the Joker" bit really is pretty forced.
