One things about the original "Back to the Future" is that it "ended" with even Biff happier than he was in the "present" at at the start of the movie. It probably bugged him to call George "Mr. McFly," but he owned his own business restoring classic cars. That has to be better than forcing George to do his work at whatever office they both worked at.

i wouldn't say he was "happier", but at the very least he was able to grow from his jock attitude from High school and actually act like a responsible adult.
