Anson Mount as Black Bolt
Black Bolt is the enigmatic and commanding King of the Inhumans who has a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city.

Serinda Swan as Medusa
Medusa is the queen of the Inhumans and wife of Black Bolt — his most trusted adviser, a fiercely resilient warrior who has the ability to move and control her hair the way most people use their hands and fingers.

Iwan Rheon as Maximus
Maximus is a clever and charming Inhuman who is fiercely devoted to the people of Attilan, especially his brother, Black Bolt, the king — though he harbors an intense desire to wear the crown himself.

Ken Leung as Karnak
Karnak is Black Bolt's cousin and closest adviser. His gift is an ability to see the fault in all things — people, plans, structures, everything. He's Black Bolt's most ardent supporter and strategist and is often seen as the royal family's planner and philosopher.

Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon
Gorgon is the cousin of Black Bolt and a member of the royal family who is the leader of Attilan’s military. With super strong legs, complete with hooves, he can generate destructive seismic waves with a single stomp. The ying to his cousin Karnak’s yang, Gorgon would rather fight than talk to solve his problems.

Isabelle Cornish as Crystal
Crystal is Medusa's sister and the youngest member of the royal family who has the ability to control the elements. Impetuous and independent she is also deeply devoted to her family.

Mike Moh as Triton
Triton is Black Bolt's cousin who is calm under pressure and supremely athletic. His gift is his fish — like the ability to live underwater.

Sonya Balmores as Auran
Auran is head of the Royal Guards on Attilan, a capable and no-nonsense woman. She is fiercely loyal to the King of Attilan.

Ellen Woglom as an undisclosed character
The mystery character is smart, intense and focused — so focused that oftentimes social skills take a back seat. Her job at a private aerospace company is her life, second only to her passion for all things space and lunar. She’s primed to be swept up in an adventure.

Lockjaw as Crystal’s 2,000-pound canine companion
The sizable pooch has the ability to teleport.

The Inhumans tv show will debut in IMAX before premiering on ABC on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.

Marvel tries to make the Inhumans replace the X-Men and ends up with an ABC show.

So disappointed that this isn't a movie. I was looking forward to Crystal being a Disney Princess.

::shrug:: The X-men are basically dead to Marvel. Might as well replace them.

There's going to be at least seven X-Men titles shortly, nine if you count Wolverine as well. How is that "basically dead"?

I think the point is that it's a bit of a come-down. The Inhumans was originally supposed to be a movie franchise to rival the X-Men, and now it's going to be on ABC, which is Marvel's dumping-ground for concepts that aren't strong enough to be a movie or a Netflix show.

Marvel's record with ABC so far consists of a sorta-decent-but-not-great show that no-one watches, another sorta-decent show that was cancelled after two seasons, and a spin-off that was junked before even making it to the pilot stage.

The obvious implication at this point is that Feige and crew a) resent Perlmutter for trying to push the Inhumans on them and shunted him out of the process so they don't have to bother with his nonsense, b) simply weren't interested in making an Inhumans movie, or c) couldn't figure out a way to actually make an Inhumans movie work, which speaks volumes of the material considering they still haven't made a less-than-good film yet and even THEY can't figure out how to make it work, at least without chucking the more "problematic" parts of the Inhumans stuff, which basically comprises of a good chunk of the core in the first place.

If Feige and co either weren't interested or couldn't make Inhumans work and palatable without changing the whole setup considerably, that's kind of a red flag.

You know, I was going to argue, and then I did some research to back me up... and it seems that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been fighting to stay over 2 million viewers, whereas Daredevil Season 2 had 13.4 million. So, uh, hmmm. Yeah. That perception of ABC as a dumping ground is looking more accurate.

I know he was the Purple Man in Jessica Jones already, but it would've been cool to have David Tennant as Maximus.
Seems like a role he really could've done.

Visibly, this is good casting, they all basically look like their counterparts save a few. Acting wise, there's some stuff to be excited about here, not much but enough

Hell, make the whole movie about Lockjaw. He's the best character in the Inhumans.

I cannot look on Iwan Rheon and not wince. Of course it's too soon to judge but I can't take him seriously and it just feel like an awful miscast >_< I hope the show will prove me wrong.

Oh come on, they could have Lockjaw eat his face or when the Avengers attack his stronghold he could shoot a GiantMan'd up Scott Lang in the eye with an arrow and THEN accept Captain America's challenge to single combat. They could have him torture some guy and then cut to him eating a sausage. He could walk around blowing the Inhuman variant of the vuvuzela...

The jokes just write themselves.

Comic books don't compare at all to even a single tv show, unfortunately. Otherwise, I wouldn't be overwhelmed with CW watchers insisting that Flash and Green Arrow are the most intimate friends ever.

I disagree. If Guardians of the Galaxy could be successful, there's no reason Inhumans can't be a movie. But its foolish to claim it would be a movie 'franchise'. There isn't enough material. But it isn't stand alone, either. The Inhumans would always have to fit in the larger Marvel Universe, whereas the mutants have been allowed a much freer rein.

Asking why Marvel keeps upping Inhumans instead of mutants is like asking why does Marvel keep promoting Iron Man instead of Superman. They don't control that product.

I don't see why people even keep bringing the two up together. There will never be mutants in the MCU. Never. Nevernevernever. Fox will keep it forevermore. Its not really a Marvel product anymore. Suggesting they should stop is like asking why McDonalds keeps making variations of burgers instead of tacos.

Maybe you could ask why Marvel feels the need.

I'm not asking why Marvel is pushing the Inhumans instead of the X-Men; I'm asking why Marvel feels that they need X-Men stand-ins at all, given that the MCU has been getting along just fine without them so far.

"If Guardians of the Galaxy could be successful, there's no reason Inhumans can't be a movie."

No particular reason that it SHOULD be, either. This drive to make the Inhumans happen seem to be coming from the comic-book side, rather than from Marvel Studios.

I've seen these complaints so many times I now believe that some people just love to complain much more than they love the X-Men.
