Gwenpool not reading Deadpool might be the biggest swerve in comics history.

Then again, she only got the name Gwenpool, because her real name is Gwen Poole.

This also makes me wonder what she thinks of Gwen Stacy, since you'd think she'd be a fan of her too.

This was a fun issue. I'm also glad Gwen was able to mend fences with Mega Tony.

Gwen leading her team to nearly beat Deadpool using gaming logic was awesome. Hit and run tactics, burning him, paralyzing him, protecting the healer so that he could fix them up when they got shot.
If she hadn't taken the time to gloat and narrate out loud they could have won.

Still his speech to her was brutal

I loved that so much. Part of what makes Deadpool so interesting is how terrifying and efficient he can be. Its like salty and sweet.

While I usually like my fourth walls a little more intact than that, I do love a brutal verbal takedown, and that was a good one.

Yeah, Gwen certainly has gotten better at this, though yeah, she should watch out for premature gloating.

I also really like how they write Batroc here.

A lot of people get lost in the jokes and wackiness and tend to forget that Deadpool is insane. It's funny for us on the other side of the fourth wall but in-universe it's terrifying.

In any case, your not alone. Not that i can blame you,. I love the book, but if a wasn't reading i'd probably assume the same.

No, I thought she was an alternate universe Gwen Stacy or something along those lines (think Spider-Gwen). I should check it out, it looks good.

Wait. Why does Waid say "I've never heard of you," to Gwen and then a few panels later mention that he knows she started out as backup feature in Howard the Duck?

Also, I find I'm starting to hear Ryan Reynolds' voice in my head when I read DP's lines.
