Powell leaves the comic in two or three more issues. From there the comic becomes what we kind of want to see: Kaiju fights. The thing is all of the stuffed teased in Vol. 1 (Mothra, and the ending) we don't fully see until vol. 2. Even then, we don't get a full explanation until Vol. 3 aka Rulers of the Earth on the why.

It still goes on. Eric Powell wrote Goon right? Did he repeatedly get hit on the head while writing this series, because I'm not seeing the talent he has there shown here.

Though I will grant him one thing, the punchline with the realtor seeing the home and the guy saying he'll buy it for 20 bucks was somewhat amusing. But yeah... this still sucks.
