I'm prepared to guess it's not really her, but someone else impersonating her to manipulate Thane. Because what is a comic these days without a 'twist'? Moondragon?

Death's not really one for crawling all over people to seduce them into doing its bidding, is it? As I recall its appearances to Thanos were fairly reserved and enigmatic, and he was more or less guessing what he could do to impress it in his big conquer-the-cosmos stories.

Death thinks Thanos is a Nice Guy and a Stalker. Also, his presents are normally massive amounts of extra work for her.

Shes much more forthcoming with men she likes.

I stopped after the first issue, which was probably for the best since Lemire quit in mid-story. Departures like that are one reason I've soured on getting too invested in long-term storylines. I just don't have the cash to blow on a storyline that goes nowhere.

Lemire's leaving the other titles but they haven't announced a replacement writer thus far. It may just be ending properly.

I'm enjoying this series so far. I love it whenever Thanos gets a solo spotlight, and the Thanos-vs-the-Legion-of-Superheroes issue was fun.

I don't know. I enjoyed the subtle resemblances between him and Thane here. And also the way the Campion, an Elder of the Universe, cut through his bullshit, not having the patience for the posturings of lesser immortals.
