Date: 2009-07-29 01:33 pm (UTC)I remember someone saying, "If anyone needs a swift kick in the nuts, it's Peter Parker," and thinking it sounded about right. Spidey's my favorite, but he's been conditioned to act that way. Everytime he doesn't, a writer has it back fire in his face.
Which is why I always liked Xander Harris so much in the first half of Buffy. We was esentailly the kicking-ass-into-gear character.
