Happily, it's pretty much the same writers, with some different artists (because as we all know, artists don't matter at Marvel).

It's been said elsewhere, but these creative teams are overwhelmingly standard for Marvel. All of these writers are just the ones on the current ongoings, and while I can certainly see a logic to that, (Who would be better suited to contrast the current direction with the old?) it's not exactly exciting.

Anyone who was hoping that Marvel might finally get it's shit together on some level and move away from the stuff which has alienated so many is sure to be disappointed.

Bit of hyperbole there on my part, but I know that Marvel's sales aren't great right now and they've been the subject of increasingly mainstream criticism, even getting written up in The Atlantic recently.

There's a lot to complain about right now at Marvel and a lot of reasons to avoid reading them, even beyond the ongoing Secret Empire controversies. There's the incredibly shallow talent pool, the constant events, the unceremonious cancellation of series before they can find an audience, the constant and confusing relaunches and renumbering, the baffling decision to spoil their own comics in an attempt a publicity, and the general sense that nothing really matters in their stories anymore.

Oh...... it's going to be on e of those comic events. It's heroic age all over again.

Can't say I really see the point of most of these. Most of the characters involved can team up whenever they want (and we already know Bendis is doing Spider-Men 2)

And I'm still disappointed that the Captain Marvel story is about the two least interesting characters to use that name. I'd much rather see any combination of Genis, Phyla, and Monica.
