Shaggy saying "like" all the time is because his character was based on Maynard G. Krebs from "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis." And maybe Allen Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac. Like, wow.
The ghosts are the parents of the townsfolk, guilt-tripping them into getting jobs and haircuts. But then...


Surprisingly quickly, we learn the ghosts are actually the grown children of the townsfolk digusing themsevles.

Everyone starts arguing, with the Scooby Snacks getting wrecked.

Psycho-Pirate has a problem emotionally controlling Scooby and Shaggy, since they are terrified all the time.
Psycho-Pirate tries to make Lantern and Arrow go through existential enuui, which I assume is a reference to their 1980s personalities.

Ollie's spicy chili is given to Scooby and Shaggy, and our heroes take off in seperate directions.
