Let's be honest: Can anyone think of a female villain that could fill in the role here? Screwball's a bad fit, but the other options I can think of are worse.

I know Frank Cho does study anatomy, but...how is it that Chip has such neatly-defined pecs *and* a pot-belly? You can have bulky fat and muscle, but surely the one has to be overlaid on top of the other.

A pot belly is often caused by a lack of muscle-tone in the abdomen and guts full of food/drink. There are pot bellies with very little fat on them. I have known men who worked out their chest and arms regularly (most often due to manual labor, rather than gym time) to the point of vascularity, but still had a gorilla-like pot belly due to copious beer and lack of sit-ups.
