He's still a psychopathic narcissistic megalomaniac with delusions of grandeur.

Also,that scene was bullshit. The Goblin Formula was never the reason for his insanity.

So I really couldn't give much of a damn about Slott or this run, but.. Good lord, is that satisfying. Osborn is like the Joker at this point, the character is responsible for so much heinous shit and the 'insanity' excuse so weak that it's so satisfying to just see them get knocked down hard, every now and then.

In what way was his insanity an "excuse" for anything?

Didn't he use "I'm better now" as a rationale for why people should trust him with control over what was effectively SHIELD in the wake of Secret Invasion?

if I were Peter now that he is rich I'd just build a secret room in one of my headquarters, with locks keyed to my DNA, and lock Norman in that room, chained to a wall, and when I was having a stressful day, I'd go down, and beat him with a golf club until I got tired.

Seriously, I'm a sucker for a villian vs villain story and it's astonishing that we've never gotten a Jackal/Goblin war.

Seriously, magic spell or not, how does this NOT give Peter away from the people who are close to him?
