Last time, Parker Robbins tried to bust his cousin John out of police detention (magically electrocuting some FBI agents in the process), but John refused to go, and instead asked Parker to pawn their stolen diamond to hire a good lawyer.

We see the cop's wife at his hospital bed reading his favorite book to him, "White Fang". I'm sure that won't be important.



Sara might be the most naive person of color in New York City.







The Hood accepts, and they agree to make the exchange to Coney Island.



And the comic ends with the FBI receiving an anonymous tip that The Hood will be at Coney Island.

Nice to see a crime boss take care of his employees.

Golembuski is a bastard, but he's not a cartoon about it, and he seems to genuinely about his family. Which makes him a good match for The Hood (or at least this version).

Oh no doubt but considering there's very little on the character apart from "he's scarier than Kingpin!" He leaves a large hole for interpretation, besides compared to over crimelords that throw their henchmen for recycling its good he doesn't play to those cliches.

The Shocker scene was funny and unexpected.

I do enjoy the thought that a given crime boss might have ties to Doctor Doom, space aliens, or the devil is a *valid concern* when doing crimes in the MU.
