Michael Morbius isn't a very good superhero

MIDNIGHT SUNS UNLIMITED #4 is the final chapter of the "Seige of Darkness" crossover. A collection of supernatural characters are fighting Zarathos. Zarathos has killed and absorbed Danny Ketch/Ghost Rider. But Morbius has an idea of how to weaken Zarathos. Just not a very heroic one.



The Midnight Sons are having a hard time with Zarathos.










So, Morbius figures the best way to stop Zarathos is to kill one of his FORMER minions who had REPENTED and joined the "good" guys.





Morbius just isn't a very good superhero. Or at least not a very heroic one.

Argh. I've been slowly trying to collect Zarathos' stories. I quit Midnight Sons cuz it was so bloody awful. Now I have to find it again. >:(

"I am only a preacher"? Did they recognize that DeMatteis meant 'Zarathos' to be a bastardization of 'Zarathustra', the prophet of the first duality light/dark cult of fire religion Zoroastrianism? ::does happy religious geek dance::

This has the distinct feeling of one of those 'way too many characters and not enough coherency' books. I mean, who ARE all these people? I recognize Morbius, and I know who Vengeance and Zarathos are, but that's about it.

That was Strange, an "etherial construct" that Dr. Strange had created. He created another one called "Dr. Stevens."

Then again an "etherial construct" called Dr Stevens does sound like it could be fun. But it's probably just the Docs ordinary human surgeon side.
Still, sounds like it could be fun. Or angsty.
