A surgical merger with Ultron would make the killing of two of the people on that last page more easily believable.

Isn't Deadpool's existence dependent on his cancer? Like his healing factor would cause his body to basically explode without it? Can't the heroes go to someone like T'Challa and say "Hey I know you're withholding the cure for cancer because of your superiority complex but we really need it to stop this guy from killing everyone"?

I'm curious if this is going to tie into the original Old Man Logan timeline with the super villains all finally teaming up. That at least would supply some purpose for the story, which without that amounts to little more than bashing some favourite toys together.
