Did Ennis get Ghost Rider confused with Spawn here? Because this looks very Spawn-ish.

Here's difference between Ghost Rider and Spawn, though. Ghost Rider is more of a straight-up vigilante whose MO is usually flooring his opponents with the Penance Stare. Spawn, meanwhile is like a mix of Venom the Lethal Protector and the Punisher, with a little Ghost Rider thrown in for good measure. I'm guessing the rest can be chalked up to the guy writing since Ghost Rider's always dealt with supernatural beings like demons and angels since the 70's.

I love the concept of Ghost Rider (the visuals are so metal) (specifically the leathery version, I mean) but I'm yet to find a story arc I like, including this one.

That's basically where I've always been with the character. He has an amazing looking and I've always been curious about him, but never seen any stories or runs highly recommended over all others. There's no Born Again or Kraven's Last Hunt or similar equivalents as far as I know. Which, for a 40+ year old character who's seemingly very popular, is kind of surprising.

I recall enjoying him in that Champions book back in the 70s, but as for actual Ghost Rider stories that were good... I got nothing.
