Interesting concept, but found the execution a bit cliche. Let's see how chapter 2 does.

I know a story like this is a farce with little basis in reality but I have to imagine if an area was infested with nutjobs trying to kill cops, most of them would probably just decide patrolling the area is not worth it, crime would rise and there would be stories like this.

There's large and disappointing gap between what Genius could be and what it actually is.

Do you guys remember the row on the old S_D wherein everyone rolled their eyes at how unfeasible the concept was, only to have a platoon of Ellis (who praised the series) fanfolk descend upon the discussion, outraged that we would dare disagree with their Chaos sorcery master?

Is anyone else as amused as I am that this series veered in a completely different direction due to -precisely- the problems we mentioned?
