Yeah pretty much. If Bendis does plan on making her become good here this will be a pretty horrible reason. Instead of Felicia growing a conscious again she gets her ass kicked, and jumps on the good guy's side again. Awful.

Did something happen to Kingpin's eyes or is that just a style choice for the panel?

Is Diamondback too stupid to realize that targeting street-level heroes' homes and families is a good way to get the non-street-level heroes involved? I mean, not all that long ago Luke was the leader of a team that included Monica Rambeau, Ben Grimm, Adam Brashear, and Jen Walters. (Not to mention Blade, who while nowhere near as powerful as those four tends not to leave enemies with their heads attached after a fight!)

Final panels of Felicia in this issue are incredibly depressing: immobilized and unable to speak while lying in a dark hospital room. Cannot help but contrast her current situation and the last time she was lying in a hospital bed with Peter comforting her for hours.
