Dick being supportive big brother to Damian is always nice.

Jason being angry about it seems... odd. Has he ever expressed any interest in Bruce's life like that before, to the extent he'd snap at Duke like that?

I sort of find it hard to believe that Damian ever thought that there would be anything between his mother and father ever again, he's never seemed THAT romantic a sort, but I suppose it makes sens for a 13 year old, even an outwardly cynical one like Damian.

I am also surprised that Dick has the same expression as everyone elses to the news. He WAS the one who told Bruce "yeah, go tell her who you are, I support you" back in the Hush storyline.
Aslo... DOES Duke know who "ms. Kyle" is? I was half expecting him to say "oh no!... who?"

I like that at least someone remembers what a good pairing Damian and Dick are.

I don't buy Jason's characterization at all here. He of all people knows that villainy is a spectrum not a line, and Catwoman is only a villain in a very tame sense of the word. She doesn't kill innocents and 99% of the time she doesn't kill bad guys either, she steals jewels from rich people who more often than not are mafia and sometimes from museums which she notes are insured, and she uses most of the profit to build orphanages and animal shelters. You simply can't convince me that Jason would ever take issue with any of that, especially when he is currently leading a team called the Outlaws.

If anything, I definitely think he would approve. Appreciate the inclusion in the Batclan of somebody who agrees that Batman's methods could use a little... flexibility.

Tom King can write excellent batboys interactions. The scene in the Joker-themed McDonald's was a thing of glory and beauty. But this scene here has Jason ring incredibly fake.

And even if you want to take away the Robin Hood aspect of her character... she mostly steals for the hell of it and would probably be more than willing to change her target for, say, mafia member or corrupt businessmen. which would benefit Batman anyways because it is one area in which she surpasses him.

Eh, I think this scene is hurt by the never ending timeline shenanigans. In the previous continuity he was much more of a father figure to all of them, and I can see just the *shock* of the sudden announcement be enough to throw anyone.

Once Jason has time to process the news, I'm sure he'll be more in line with your expectations. That or we'll get a one-shot explaining why Jason suddenly has a beef against Catwoman.

i don't know if Bruce has told anyone Selina never killed 300 people... so she is still technically a wanted serial killer... though i THINK all those people were mafia.... BUT i kinda remember Holly burning down an orphanage....

I have never seen Talia represented like this before. She is always anglicized to make her a more palatable match for Bruce in the eyes of the sort of dickheads who get upset about that sort of thing.

This woman actually looks like the daughter of Ra's Al Ghul.

It's my major problem with Duke being here. I like Duke and it is understandable that he is being in on this but... where is everyone else?

I don't think Ra's cares about monogamy per se. As long as he has one or more known worthy male heir(s) of his blood line (who can also serve as a spare body) , I don't think he much cares about the rest of it.

Ra's misogyny / sexism is fairly specific to the matter of his heirs. He doesn't seem at all bothered about females in any other position of power you can name , from leaders of his elite groups, to his personal bodyguard. So it's not like it's symbolic of him having conservative social views due to his age in general.

Maybe I'm being hypocritical, but am I the only one who minds when they call somebody a "villain" in-universe like that? I'm not against cheese, especially with superheroes, but when you the LAST storyline you wrote has Riddler of all villains murdering a child, this weird meta camp is just off-putting to me.
