I wonder when she'll get her hair back given that they likely cut it for synergy with the show which was too low budget to have CGI hair and probably won't get a second season.

At least a story like that works here, since these characters have been around for years and as such the concept can provide interesting and unique ways of casting said characters in another light, whereas with the show we only got to know the Inhumans for all of 40 minutes or so before they’re depowered and deposed.

Baby Groot in GotG 2? Groot is ‘somehow’ stuck in his baby form in the comics.

Medusa loses her hair in the show? Medusa loses her hair in the comics around the same time.

And so forth, and so on.

In this case, if it was synergy, wouldn't the hair at least look the same as in the TV show, where it's a red buzzcut, not this gray strawy affair?

I mean, you'd have us believe they'd dictate this one tiny similarity -- it doesn't even look the same -- yet be totally cool with things like the completely different setting of exploring uncharted spaces and not even having the same cast, having ditched Karnak, Triton, and even Lockjaw and replaced them with NuHumans. Plus, every single character looks completely different.

The current GotG series isn’t a complete carbon copy of the movie either but it’s still clearly influenced in numerous ways. The new Yondu is a prime example; he’s not an exact replica of Michael Rooker but they were clearly going for the Ravager/space pirate element that Gunn introduced.

Given how much of Marvel is driven by this type of corporate synergy a character undergoing a new status quo around the same time as it happening in the MCU is a pretty big coincidence. I mean heck the Inhumans push period is due to corporate synergy.

You sound like conspiracy theorist man, especially since Medusa lost her hair in the comics far before the show even started. So you're going to have to do better than that, since it wasn't after the show did it as you so incorrectly claim.

More importantly, nothing that's happening in Royals is happening in the show. So your claims are rather baseless here.

Marvel has been driven by synergy with movies since the first Spider-Man film. This is hardly a conspiracy.

Before the show started production or just airing? Because if it’s just the latter I can’t imagine Marvel didn’t know what was going on with the show.

Which means nothing by itself. Bendis is doing his own thing with the Defenders but it would be silly to suggest the show is completely divorced in influencing the set up.

I see you are adamant about your 'synergy' theory but so you know, Medusa loosing her hair in the TV show is a clear homage to the Inhuman Vol. 2 (1998), a brilliant run by Paul Jenkins, and there are a number of other motifs from that story in the show (alas, executed poorly).

I'm assuming that the steal the Primagen from the Progenitors in a Prometheus situation, the Primagen repowers Medusa and the Progenitors follow them back to Earth.

They've been evaluating Inhumans by throwing enormous " Skyspears " across space.

If they weren't giant impossible humanoids, the idea of them throwing their diagnostic tools through space wouldn't exist in the way it does.
