Probably since Maverick was stuck in Red Hulk form for 800x as long as he should have been in U.S. Avengers—his skin's bright red when shrunk down to human form in the aftermath, so he might carry some of his normal physical traits over when hulking out as well. (And he shouldn't be hulking out at all for health reasons, but you know how that goes...)

I'm a bit puzzled by Metal Master being able to control Mjolnir when it's been able to act on its own as well as under Jane's command at a distance recently. Seems like the two would cancel out.

Magneto has blocked and redirected Mjolnir a number of times (and UltMags wielded it), but he was unable to control the Hammers of The Worthy during Fear Itself at all, so... :shrug:

In Fear Itself he was trying to fight a Worthy'd Juggernaut, right? I've always read that as Juggernaut's "Unstoppable" clause overruling Magneto's control.

Waid wrote a whole page explaining his rationalization for how Metal Master is affecting Mjolnir at the back of the latest issue

Apparently this Metal Master isn't manipulating metal so much as using gravitons to increase Mjolnir's inertia so that it just doesn't move as the Earth is moving and rotating through space. Not sure how that works since he's changing its direction to specifically hit his target.
