Okay. More than making the prey feel "fear", what Kraven wants is the challenge of the hunt. In other words, refusing to fight him at all and going along with his games would probably have a higher chance of succeeding.

I enjoyed this run and this issue the only thing that saddens me is the cat lover in me mourn the leopard that Kraven used to attack Cap. I know Cap had no choice but send it to its doom but man it still sucks.

How is any of this actually a challenge for Kraven? Last I knew Peter (and possibly Kaine and Ben) Parker is the only one who can actually kill him at this point.

He didn't. That's my point. IIRC part of his resurrection is that he can only be killed by Spider-Man.

Considering his original suicide was at least partially because he was tired of life and thought there were no real challenges left, this has to be his own personal hell.

I’m sad to see Kraven back to full on villainy after his “now I only hunt hunters” turn in Squirrel Girl. Granted, I think it might be best to call that book “continuity adjacent.”
