Jeez, where did Sistah Spooky go to High school anyways? I don't think Sunnydale had that many kids who sold their souls to demons and they were built directly over a fucking Hellmouth.

I'm a little disappointed they were taken out in such a "clean" way. Didn't even look painful.

A: Why are we supposed to bother reading Empowered when Adam Warren is not drawing it?

B: Why is the art we -are- getting so awful?

C: If we are going to be favored with the fat jokes headed Emp's way, would it not help if they drew her with a different body type from every other girl in the series? I appreciate they they never made sense anyway, but they make even -less- sense here.

This is awful on every level. I think it actually tastes bad.

I can see why Spooky had issues with Emp--she doesn't just remind her of the high-school blond bullies, she's exactly identical to them. (Seriously, the only way I could tell Emp apart from the others was the tatters of her suit.)

That said, wasn't it a running gag back in Warren's books that Emp is nowhere remotely near overweight, and that her supposed 'fatness' is her being drawn with Power Girl-style cleavage and a Kim Kardashian-style butt? As an actual fat lady, I was kind of relieved when someone called her out for 'grenade-fishing for compliments'.
