That's a reference to John Byrne's Superman #9, where the Joker (Who just wants to see what Superman is like) does exactly that using Lois, Jimmy and Perry as the targets.

Ivy just took over the entire planet by mind controlling everyone. all 7 billion of them.
why? I think because she believes this way she can fix the world. Personally I like to think Selina forgot to invite her to the wedding and Ivy is overreacting.

see... this i would accept... but i am hoping it is something along the lines of this isn't really ivy, ivy is being controlled by the green, or it's an ivy clone that thinks she is the real ivy and has the real ivy trapped as a power source...

You know what I adore about Batman's villains? They know he's on that bullshit.

They will setup like 50 death traps and then at the end of the last one there is a note that can only be read by jump roping backwards to the beat of a Lupe Fiasco track and they just assume Batman walk through all their traps and read the note.

I know the story isn't over, but it is weird when you go from Batgirl and the Birds of Prey where Babs shares a friendly lunch with Pam while thinking about how they've managed to rehabilitate her, and then one week later Pam TAKES OVER THE WORLD.
