Doctor Strange took advantage of a recent power-up to restore Las Vegas and all of its deceased citizens, only for Mephisto to come along as the whole city was in sent to his realm after being destroyed. He now exerts his power throughout the city and is collecting souls to fill his vault.

I really wish Marvel could make up their mind how destroyed Las Vegas was.
In Secret Civil War Empire, it was leveled and everyone in it killed.
Yet in other series, like Scarlet Spider, it was merely heavily damaged.
Now here again, it seems to have been utterly destroyed.

So which was it?

Anyway, Mephisto will be very disappointed to learn that Stranges soul is too heavily mortgaged to be sold, as we learned in the incursions mess.

Not that I'm hugely inclined to be fair when it comes to Nick Spencer's writing, but I read that as Mephisto not personally bagging Hitler himself, in terms of 'bragging rights'.

That said, Hawkeye speaks for me and possibly all of us. I can handle reasoned discussion, I can even handle anger in terms of emotional vulnerability, but if I have to read another comic with petty sniping between the superheroes I'm going to start flinging stuff into trash bins. And seriously, what the hell is up with Thor's 'mortals' comment?

Art's nice, though. Even though I'm not entirely sure what's up with Strange's Spock eyebrows.

I think he was seen in Satannish's domain of h-e-double hockey sticks. Though he's also been alive (after his death during WWII) at times.

Technically, in the MU, Hitler might still be alive. After the Human Torch BBQ'd him, Zola transferred his mind into a clone body which became the Captain America villain the Hate-Monger; his last appearance involved getting dissipated in a burst of pure hatred, but that's not a definite death.
