You know, when I read the above, my first thought was "Holy shit, they even copied Priests framing format from his Black Panther format. He's probably super pissed somewhere."

Then I thought "Wait, I don't even know who wrote this, let me check..."

And then I checked and like "Huh, so Christopher Priest wrote this."

So DC got Christopher Priest to write a JLA story featuring their new Black Panthier OC (don't steal) as the villain.

Considering that last page ended with the screen going out, I'm going to also assume that happened.

Hell, Cyborg didn't even need to get up. he could have been like "Hey Slade, while you were standing there running your mouth I just hacked the countries power grid, turned off the mansion's security system, and crippled the countries air defense systems. Also, I went in and emptied all your personal bank accounts. Because fuck you. Lets see Batman do that."

Sadly, since Priest is writing... doubtful. There's only a handful of characters he seems to think are competent and Cyborg doesn't appear to be one of them. I'd be glad to be wrong, though.

I picture it as him deliberately using it on certain words just to be irritating.
