My quick thoughts

Thor, again, steals the show.
Only two bits that genuinely surprised me
Thanos's plan will instead lead to a social meltdown/apocalypse, so thanks for that.
Generally handled well.
I've been told that the sign in Edinburgh is just a prop. So disappointed

At the risk of being an arse (not intentionally, I promise!) I was kind of "ehhh" about it?

I mean, the punchline there was like, "Because he's actually a dwarf in real life, get it?" and I'm kind of over it at this point. Dinklage is a talented actor, and every single role of his I've seen relates back to him being a dwarf--even Tyrion, in which he gets some of his best moments/monologues. It's like, give him something else to do, y'know?

(One thing I liked about X-Men: Days of Future Past was that Trask was just an inventor type who thought the Sentinels were a good answer to the "mutant problem". Nothing to do with his dwarfism whatsoever.)

I can see why it might jar, but he was still playing a dwarf, Eitiri is an Asgardian dwarf... They'll be bigger of course.

No, I totally get that part. I just wish Dinklage got more roles that have absolutely nothing to do with him being a dwarf--ability over appearance, like TVTropes says.

Entirely fair.

I think my first exposure to him as an actor was in the sadly short lived "Threshold" in 2005, where he played " a mathematics and linguistics genius with a penchant for unpredictability, alcohol and women" and, as you say, his height was sometimes referenced, but never defined his character.
