She'd fled the hunter after her.
An arm clamped onto her shoulder- it was AG, who'd been nearby the whole time.
He took her to shelter in the nearest cave and sat himself down.
Damaged as he was by the rain, he asked Ania to shut him down.

(The hunter escaped Jao with the use of a thermal detonator.)
Ania fled and fell.
The hunter's whip stopped her fall.
She pulled on the whip - it and her fell further.
The hunter leapt down to them.
Ania tried to use the whip, unsuccessfully.
" Not working for you, huh? "
The hunter raised her whip hand. Its exposed cybernetics sparked.
" That's because to use the whip, you need one of these.. "

Ania awoke to find herself restrained, and the hunter preparing for a transplant.

(She's guiding her ship in.)

" I would have stayed Ania Solo, too, but a particularly arrogant Imperial Knight got in my way. That forced me to take on this bounty hunter persona until things cooled down.
" But now, with your face all over the vids after what you pulled in the Carreras system..
" Anyway, they'll figure things out as soon as they have you in custody. Not your hand, not your crime.
" Unless it is your hand- "
She was interrupted by Jao, who'd followed her ship.

Jao removed Ania's restraints with the Force.
The hunter caught Jao with her whip.

Reeling, the hunter turned on Ania.
" It's unorthodox..

There was only Ania and Jao.
Then there were stormtroopers representing the Triumvirate, there to take Ania in.
(Presumably, they were tracking AG's ship.)
Jao let them, because they were just doing their job.
(They didn't take him away for desertion, because they hadn't been ordered to.)
They left. He dragged AG out of the cave.
Sauk landed nearby.
Under now-clear skies, they discussed what to do next.
On Coruscant, Ania stood before a tribunal.
Yalta Val, who believed in her innocence, stood in her defense.
" All of your evidence is circumstantial. It is impossible that Solo killed an Imperial Knight!
" In fact, she has risked her life more than once to save members of our order. "
" Perhaps she feels guilt over her earlier crime. "

" I have evidence! "
" Jao Assam! By what right do you enter this chamber? This is a closed tribunal! "

Outside, Sauk and a reactivated AG greeted her.
" Sauk! I.. I don't know what I'd do without you guys.. "

Jao sat in a cell elsewhere.
A figure approached.
