Yeah, that's the same problem I've always had with Rags Morales. It really detracts, too, because I love Tomasi's writing, especially all the Dick + friends scenes in his Nightwing run, but nice moments like thee should be enhanced rather than stilted by the facial expressions.

The "To Bart" panel really does not look like a dude thinking about a lost friend, and it's an incredibly jarring dissonance. Having to see it twice only makes it worse.
